What's on in Sydney?

My mother has just burst into the study informing me that she has had the greatest of great ideas. She thinks we can possibly convince my Dad to stop over in Sydney and see Priscilla - the musical, on the way home from QLD next February when we go for Grandma's 80th birthday. I admit I got excited upon hearing this, even though we haven't even bought Dad into the equation yet. And I didn't really get excited about maybe going to see Priscilla. I got excited about going to Sydney. My whole life I have wanted to go to Sydney. And then even more after I fell in love with the place seeing so much of it on my television screen during the Sydney Olympics.

But anyways, I kind of wish a musical I really REALLY REALLY wanted to see was playing at that time. But I think that Priscilla is the only one. Not that I don't want to see it, but yeah...if it was Cabaret or the Boy From Oz, or Burn the Floor I would be so hyper and excited I wouldn't even be able to type this blog.

So can anyone help me out? What else is playing in Sydney in late February 2007? Anything good? I don't even know where to start looking on the internet. I have already been to Star City's website, because that is where Priscilla is playing, but that didn't give me much...at least nothing I haven't already.

I am mostly directing this blog at you Pia. You always know these things.

Pukettes

Hahaha apparently Parkettes Gym in the US has a reputation for 'breaking' their gymnasts and always having their girls in casts and on crutches, and since I have recently become addicted to devious little gym message boards where I spend hours just reading heaps of juicy gossip about gymnasts, their gyms, their coaches and competitions, I wanted to share these funny videos I found on youtube...

Belinda

It is with much sadness that I heard of the death of Belinda Emmett today. Our world is now a little worse off now without her. What an inspirational woman who fought against the cruelest of continuous blows. I will miss her.
